Valentines Care Packages - It's not too late to donate items for the Sunday School Valentine care pagckages! The deadline has been extended to Saturday, February 11th. Care packages will go tot he homebound members and residents of a local assisted living facility for Valentines Day. Collection bins (and a list of needed items) are located in Bldg. B outside the church office & in the narthex.
Ash Wednesday - February 22. Worship at 12:00 Noon and 7:00 pm. Gathering around the imposition of ashes, we repent to open our hearts to our Lenten journey to the cross. Remembering that we are dust and to dust we shall return, we rely upon the grace of our loving God to forgive us, renew us and lead us.
Men's Group - Beginning 2/6 the Men's Bible Discussion Group will change from meeting on Tuesdays to meeting on Mondays (7-9pm in the Adult Room). Our next meeting will be on MONDAY, February 6.
New Connections Class for Young Adults - Members and visitors who have graduated high school through age 30 are invited to a new Connections hour class just for them. We will pick our topics as we go. To get more information and vote on topics, look up our group page on Facebook (Cross of Life Young Adults) or contact Mary Houck.
New Members Received 2/19 at the 11:15 worship service. A three week orientation session will be held on February 5th, 12th and 19th at 10:00 in the Sanctuary. Please contact Pastor Terri if you are interested in joining COL.
Sheets Needed - The Tuesday Morning quilters are in need of any size sheets (flat) & materials to make their quilts. Donations can be dropped offin the "Quilters Closet" in Fellowship Hall.
Women's Retreat - March 2-4 at Lake Chatuge Lodge - Hiawassee. Sign-up in Fellowship Hall or email Laura.
Habitat - Volunteers are needed for the next build. Build site is in Woodstock - Village Chase (about 5-10 minutes from Crabapple). We need 5-6 volunteers each day for 1/2 a day. We'll also be providing lunch on April 28. Please sign-up in Fellowship Hall.
Friday Fixers - We meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday's of each month from 12 - 3 pm. Come join us!
