The Lutheran Malaria Initiative is an unprecedented collaborative effort among the ELCA, The LCM and Lutheran World Relief to mobilize the nearly 8 million Lutherans in the United States to join the battle against malaria - a preventable and treatable disease that kills more than one million people a year.
An expression of our faith and of God's love for all, the Lutheran Malaria Initiave will educate U.S. Lutherans about malaria, advocate for global health initiatives, and raise funds to help combat malaria.
The Cross of Life team is hoping to raise $1000 to help the Lutheran Malaria Initiative. In the words of LMI, we encourage you to "SEND A NET. SAVE A LIFE."
